Questions
Why does the bot need to be my Steam friend?
Steam shows your friends when you’re in a match. That is how the bot knows a match was found and which one, so it can look up the other players. There is no password: you never sign in to Steam through us.
Do I need Overwolf or an overlay?
No. Nothing runs on your PC: no overlay and no app attached to the game. Our bot follows the match through Steam and the lobby shows up on your phone, so it works the same on Windows, Mac and Linux.
Do the other players get notified?
No. Nothing is sent to them. The app shows their public match history, and players who hide theirs stay anonymous.
Do I need to keep the app open?
There are no notifications. Open the app once your match is found: the lobby is waiting on the Live match card, and it keeps updating while the app is open.
How do I stop it?
Remove the bot from your Steam friends and the Live lobby stops. The rest of the app keeps working.
